Structural Steel and Earthquake Strengthening
Industrial Welding has experience and expertise working alongside construction firms, builders and engineers to produce cost effective solutions. We tender for many small to medium structures, and local construction projects which have involved projects such as schools and child care centres and existing structures such as building upgrades. We take care of the structural steel, architectural and sheet metal requirements making it a total solution – your one shop stop for all your metal work requirements – whether it be steel, stainless or aluminium.
Building (Earthquake-prone Buildings) Amendment Act 2016
New Zealand is categorised into areas of high, medium and low seismic risk (with timeframes for identifying potentially earthquake-prone buildings of five, 10 and 15 years, and timeframes for strengthening earthquake-prone buildings of 15, 25 and 35 years, dependent on the seismic risk of the area).
Should you have an older building that fits into this criteria – or should you would require more information or help with the process – Industrial Welding has experience and expertise to guide you through this process. We can point you to the right engineers experienced in this area to make this a cost effective exercise for you.
